Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facilities - Eclectic, AL.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in Eclectic, Medicare will pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional health insurance in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
