The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are centers which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
