The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
