Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Mesa, AZ.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Mesa, this program will pay for certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs for outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications administered by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for clients who want supplemental health insurance apart from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
