The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. One of its responsibilities is the administering of opioid rehab programs, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
