DWI Clients - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Challenge, CA.

DWI clients in treatment need to complete specific requirements to satisfy the terms of their court sentencing. Rehab programs that help fulfill these court requirements and terms, which are typically more lenient than normal sentencing which would include heavy fines and jail time, are available in Challenge to deliver educational services, group counseling, and additional assessment for clients with serious substance abuse issues.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a fundamental tool used at rehab programs treating DWI offenders. There are various levels of alcohol education which can differ by state. Level I education classes normally include 12 hours of group education about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a single offense or someone under 21 will ordinarily be required to complete. Level II courses would include both substance abuse education and therapy at a program which is approved by the courts. The duration the client will need to participate in therapy depends upon certain considerations, which can be, for example, how many DWI's the person has had, and the severity of the offense. Most often individuals will be required to take the Level II DWI classes and therapy unless their blood-alcohol content level was extremely low when they were stopped and there were no other serious infractions when the person was arrested.
