Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Solana Beach, CA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and need substance abuse treatment in Solana Beach, Medicare will pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
