Regular out-patient recovery is mostly a less costly alternative to more intensive outpatient centers or inpatient treatment, and is the least intense of formal alcohol or drug rehabilitation available in Windsor. The length of time someone stays in rehab can vary, and a client's progress can be evaluated occasionally and an extension of treatment can be recommended contingent upon these evaluations.

In some cases, a regular outpatient recovery facility is going to be insufficient in intensity for a client who is addressing a severe drug and alcohol problem and has not experienced treatment previously or has relapsed following previous outpatient recovery.
