The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the nation. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
