Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - The Villages, FL.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in The Villages, Medicare may pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want additional coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
