Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in The Villages, Medicare may pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of treatment.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
