Substance abuse facilities for Veterans are essential for the mental well-being and overall stability of Vets of all branches of the military. Because alcohol and drug abuse and other mental health disorders are found at higher than average rates among Vets, it is important that Veterans get the essential assistance they need because of such high suicide rates also associated with these disorders with our Vets.
Alcohol and drug abuse programs for Vets in Macon are available through the VA, with included services such as programs to handle associated problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, pain, disturbed sleep, irritability, and/or relationship problems which most commonly trigger substance abuse disorders among Veterans.
