The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
