The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to promote the behavioral health of the nation. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction. Drug administered are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs which stop curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid dependent clients.
