The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
