DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers - Oregon, IL.

DWI clients in treatment need to complete specific requirements to satisfy the conditions of their court sentencing. Rehab programs that help fulfill these requirements and terms, which are usually much more lenient than regular sentencing such as large fines and incarceration, are offered in Oregon to provide DWI classes, therapy, and additional assessment for serious substance abuse problems.

Drug and Alcohol Education is an essential tool used at rehabs treating DWI clients. There are various levels of alcohol education classes which can differ by state. Level I education classes generally include 12 hours of education related to the effects and dangers of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what a person with a first offense or someone under 21 will usually be required to do. Level II classes would include both education and group therapy in a court approved program. The duration the individual will need to participate in therapy depends on certain considerations, which can include how many DWI's the offender has had, and the seriousness of the offense. In most cases, clients will be sentenced to the Level II DWI classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol level was very low when they were arrested and there weren't any other serious charges when the individual was arrested.
