The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
