Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs - Huron, IN.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Huron, Medicare can pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
