The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
