When a person has conquered substance abuse problem, it isn't as simple as starting life again where you left off. Returning to a positive and happy life takes time and a lot of determination. A Halfway House, also called a Sober Living Facility, is a place where recovering individuals can live in a drug and alcohol free and supportive environment until they can live stably on their own.
