Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Programs - Manhattan, KS.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in Manhattan, this program may pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient substance abuse rehab. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
