When an individual has conquered substance abuse problem, it isn't as easy as resuming where you left off. Returning to a positive and happy life takes time and a lot of hard work. A Halfway House, a.k.a. a Sober Living Facility, is an environment where people in recovery can live in a drug and alcohol free and supportive environment until they are able to live confidently on their own.
