The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
