The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
