The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
