The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
