The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
