Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Worcester, MA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require addiction rehabilitation in Worcester, this program may cover certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
