The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its responsibilities is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
