The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the nation. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
