Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Eastlake, MI.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need substance abuse treatment in Eastlake, Medicare will pay for certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
