Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Okemos, MI.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and need addiction rehabilitation in Okemos, Medicare may pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
