Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people who do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Bragg City, this program may pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of care.
Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.
Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.
Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for clients who want additional health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
