The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the nation. One of its responsibilities is the administering of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
