Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
