Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs - Nevada, MO.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Nevada, Medicare will cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
