The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. Medications given are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs that help withdrawal and curb cravings for opioid dependent individuals.
