DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Rex, NC.

DWI clients in treatment need specific requirements met to satisfy the terms of their sentencing. Rehab facilities which help fulfill these requirements and terms, which are typically far more lenient than regular sentencing which would include large fines and jail time, are available in Rex to deliver alcohol education, therapy, and additional assessment for clients with serious alcohol or drug issues.

Education is a primary tool used at rehab programs catering to DWI offenders. There are various levels of alcohol education classes which can vary by state. Level I education typically consist of 12 hours of education related to the effects and dangers of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a single conviction or someone under 21 will usually be required to complete. Level II classes would include both education and group therapy in a program which is approved by the courts. The duration the client will be required to remain in therapy depends on various considerations, which can include how many DWI's the individual has had, and the severity of the offense. Most often clients will be sentenced to the Level II classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol content level was very low when they were stopped and there were no other significant charges when the individual was arrested.
