The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
