The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
