The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its responsibilities is the oversight of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
