The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
