The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
