DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - New Egypt, NJ.

DWI clients in treatment need to complete specific requirements to satisfy the terms of their sentencing. Treatment programs that help satisfy these requirements and terms, which are typically much more lenient than traditional sentencing which would include large fines and jail time, are offered in New Egypt to deliver DWI classes, therapy, and further evaluation for clients with serious substance abuse issues.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a primary tool used at rehabs treating DWI offenders. There are a few different levels of alcohol education and this can differ by state. Level I education normally consist of 12 hours of education related to the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what a person with a first offense or someone under the age of 21 will commonly be required to complete. Level II classes would consist of both substance abuse education and group therapy at a program which is approved by the courts. The duration the client will need to remain in therapy depends upon a few factors, which can be, for example, the number of DWI's the individual has had, and the severity of the offense. Most often clients will be sentenced to the Level II DWI classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol content was very low when they were arrested and there were no other significant charges when the individual was arrested.
