Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
