The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
