The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
