Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in North Rose, this program will pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of treatment.
Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
