Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities - Ontario Center, NY.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in Ontario Center, Medicare will pay for various treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
