The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
