The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
